Nathan Crooks is the East Coast managing editor at The Block, based in Miami. He was previously at Bloomberg News for 12 years, where he helmed coverage of South Florida after roles as a breaking news editor and bureau chief in Caracas, Venezuela. Nathan, a native of Clarion, Pennsylvania, holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto, where he completed a specialist in political science, and a Master of Business Administration from American University in Washington, D.C.
Tim is a managing editor with a focus on technology stories, like staking, governance and DeFi. Prior to joining The Block, Tim was a news editor at Decrypt. Ryan is the deals editor at The Block. Prior to joining the company, Ryan was a fintech correspondent at Financial News, Dow Jones in London, and before that he was editor of AltFi. He holds a first class degree in BA History from Newcastle University. Twitter.
Colin oversees and contributes policy, regulatory, political, and legal coverage for The Block. Before joining The Block he covered congressional economic policy, including fintech legislation, for Bloomberg Industry Group and Politico, with additional stints at the Washington Examiner and American Banker. Colin is an alumnus of Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and Sewanee: The University of the South.
Davis Quinton is an Associate Producer at The Block covering topics ranging from digital assets to financial markets. Davis works closely with leaders across divisions to produce content for The Block’s flagship podcast, The Scoop. He holds a degree in Social Research & Public Policy from New York University in Abu Dhabi and has previously held positions at Wells Fargo and various law firms around the world.
